But this is what I found. Could it get past either analogue and switch mode power supplies, and how?
I hope that you get your problem sorted out.
73 Jim GM4FVMGM4FVMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10794029618635259984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6891312687175550342.post-63822965529591100312021-12-19T03:40:23.920-08:002021-12-19T03:40:23.920-08:00Hallo Jim,

A neigbour ham complained that.
We could confirm it's within the TX signal of my IC706 with a Perseus SDR. But we nearly got crazy after swithing to the TS590 with Kühne Transverter and just doing a cw carrier, we had the same 100hz sidelopes. (completely separated rig with separate PS, hanging on the same mains phase)
We checked if it's the receiver doing that hum, but could not confirm that as we saw the sideband also on an other rigs waterfall.
We thought we are crazy, stopped all measurements and decided to do the next test with the same equipment on an others hams location. (up to now we did not proceed this test).
So your article gives me new ideas to search, nevertheless I have no idea who the interference comes through analog and digital power supplies and different radios into the tx signal.
73 Jens, DF5HC df5hchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17310483170723956269noreply@blogger.com
